Brigid’s book on Stoicism, Reasons Not to Worry is an international bestseller. It has been translated into 19 languages and sold into 22 territories. It has been featured in the Times of London, the Daily Stoic podcast, The Guardian, Good Weekend, and in literary festivals all over the world.
In 2023 it was shortlisted for the ABIA non-fiction Book of the Year.
Her latest book The Seeker and the Sage (published by Allen and Unwin) explores Stoicism through the story of a young woman seeking the secret to happiness. It is available for pre-order and hits stores in October.
Brigid has taught Stoic workshops in Sydney and Singapore and loves seeing the ‘a-ha’ moment when participants really connect the philosophy with their own life.
Her own life has been transformed by the practice of Stoicism and she’s excited to share the philosophy with others.
